When searching for a provider, Fexa offers a mapping feature that helps you locate nearby providers.
To use the mapping feature to search for a provider, click on any work order and scroll down to the Service Assignments. Click on the Location Arrow icon on the right-hand side.
If the Category has populated, you may want to remove it. If there is a Vendor Assignment Default for the Category selected, the provider(s) should appear on the map.
You can remove the existing category selection with the X.
If left blank, all of the providers in the selected area will appear on the map.
To search and use a different category, use the drop down.
Clicking on the location icon next to the Active field will provide more accurate mileage and time.
You can use this tool to drag and extend the distance you want to search.
The provider status/compliance is now available on the Nearby Vendor search. This allows users to view this info without having to directly open up the provider.
Click on the provider to use them. The information should populate based off of the work order information.
Once you have entered all of the required information, select ADD.
After clicking on a provider, and before adding, you are now able to create a visit using the Create Visit Toggle.
Simply toggle "Create Visit" to true, add any other info, and select Add.

Can you search for a vendor without writing a work order?
Mindy Warren You cannot search for a vendor using this nearby vendor feature without a work order, no.
However, you can always create a list on the Vendors grid in the City/State/Postal Code to find vendors in specific areas!
