Customers often ask for an export date and ID to be cleared if they need to resubmit and re-export the invoice after making updates. Users are no longer required to submit a helpdesk ticket to clear the export date and export ID from individual invoices, but can now self-manage this task in the User Interface with the addition of an adjunct permission. This can be accomplished on both Vendor and Client Invoices.
On the Invoice screen, users will now see a display-only field for Export Date, as well as a new functioning Clear button.
When the clear button is selected, a new window will appear with Yes or No button prompts to move forward with clearing the original Export date and batch ID. This will have no effect on the batch records, and will only affect the associated invoice.
The new clear button will not automatically update the invoice status unless the appropriate workflow automation has been added.
