The goal of Client Pricing is to store Product Specific Pricing. The product pricing will be set at the time of selecting a line item on an invoice. These pricings can be created based on category, class, client, etc.
Creating/Updating Pricings
To update or add Product Pricings, select Pricings>Client Pricing under Administration on the menu.
Client Pricings can also be creating or updated from within the Client record. To do this, click on the Client record and select the Client Pricings tab.
From here, you can double click on any of the existing pricings, or select the plus sign on the right side of the screen to create a new one.
How to Apply Pricings
Once you have your pricings created, to utilize them, you can create a Client/Vendor Invoice/Proposal or open an existing one. When creating the line items on the invoice, be sure to select a line item/type that matches an existing product pricing. Once you create your invoice and duplicate it to a vendor or a client invoice/proposal the increase or decrease price type will apply.
For this example, a Vendor Invoice is being duplicated to a Client Invoice.
The Client Product Pricing says "whenever a line item is for the Product Fuel, increase the client invoice line item by 10%.
The line item on the Vendor Invoice has the Line Item type of Fuel and is for $200.00.
When duplicated to a Full Client Invoice, the line item rate increased $20 or 10%.
