π Enhancements
CMMS
Mobile App Access by Permission Group
Admins can now choose which permission groups use the new Fexa Mobile app, instead of turning it on or off for the whole account.
What's New:
A Fexa Mobile (PWA) card under Administration > Permissions > Group Details, with a PWA Access toggle.
Users in enabled groups go to the new mobile app. Everyone else keeps the current mobile experience.
Accounts already using the mobile app keep it on for all existing groups. New groups default to off.
Line Item and Product Classification Totals in Billing Requirements and Workflows
Billing requirements and workflow definitions can now check invoice line items and totals by product classification, so invoices can be held for review before they're exported.
What's New:
Line item and product classification totals (labor, materials, shipping) are available as data points.
They work in vendor quote, vendor invoice, client quote and client invoice workflows.
Per-Line Cost on Client Invoice and Quote Layouts
On invoices that use invoice-level markup, printed and PDF layouts couldn't show the per-line cost that users see on screen.
What's Changed:
Client invoice and quote layouts can now show each line's cost when invoice-level markup is on.
Faster Dropdown Pickers
Some of the most-used dropdowns could be slow to open and search, especially on large accounts.
What's Changed:
The Client, Vendor, Technician, Assigned To and Policy dropdowns now open and search faster.
They look and work the same as before.
π Bug Fixes
Asset Templates: Parts Categories Could Not Be Removed
A category selected in "Add Parts Categories" couldn't be removed, so a mistake meant rebuilding the template.
What's Fixed:
Categories can now be removed when creating or editing a template, and the change is saved.
Read-Only PM Users Saw Save and Add Buttons
Users with read-only Preventive Maintenance permissions saw Save buttons and plus signs that either did nothing or showed an error.
What's Fixed:
These controls are now hidden for read-only users.
Wrong Store's Assets Shown on Line Items
Since 10/19, the Asset dropdown on line items sometimes listed assets from across the whole account instead of the work order's store. That made it easy to save the wrong asset.
What's Fixed:
The dropdown now shows only the work order's store assets.
Invoices Stuck in "Approved for Processing"
Some invoices with an export date stayed in Approved for Processing instead of moving to Exported automatically.
What's Fixed:
Invoices with an export date now move to Exported as expected.
Vendor Invoice Marked Paid at $0.00
A vendor invoice could be submitted before its balance was calculated. It then moved straight from Exported to Paid at $0.00.
What's Fixed:
Invoice totals are now calculated before the invoice can move forward, so this can't happen.
User Export Showed Store Names Instead of Store Identifiers
The Facilities column in Export User Data showed store names, so the file couldn't be imported back without editing.
What's Fixed:
The column now shows Store Identifiers.
User Import Didn't Set the User's Organization
Users created with the User v2 import were saved without an Organization, even when the Organization Name column was filled in. Because of that, they didn't show up in the Users list.
What's Fixed:
The import now sets each user's Organization from the Organization Name column, so imported users appear in the Users list right away.
This fix went out early, on 10/29.
Assignee Cleared When Saving Follow-Up Fields
Saving a change to a work order's Follow Up Date and Follow Up Reason sometimes cleared its Assignee. No error appeared, so the change only showed up in the work order's history.
What's Fixed:
Updating follow-up fields no longer changes the Assignee. It stays set unless someone changes it on purpose.
