Mass Dispatch brings the ability to combine multiple program Work Orders into one email communication for the assigned Vendor. This would be beneficial for a vendor, for example, who is connected to 10 different facilities. Instead of receiving separate emails for each of those facility programs, the Provider could receive one communication with 10 attachments, simultaneously.
Create a Communication Rule with the following criteria:
This will need to use the Mass Dispatch (PM Assignment Generation) Data Source. Make sure to turn on the Include Documents Toggle, and for the Document Types field, leave this blank to include ALL types of documents. This will make sure the document type related to the Mass Dispatch work order is attached to the email via a LINK you can click on and view and download all of the attached documents.
Make sure to choose the proper recipients for the communication rule as well.
An event will also need to be set up with the event definition Mass Dispatch is Ready Equal to True.
The next step would be to set up a Preventative Maintenance Program. You will need to fill this out and make sure to turn on the Enable Mass Dispatch toggle at the bottom.
Add the stores you want to be included on the Mass Dispatch.
You can test this by clicking on work orders and generating a work order from the program.
