Greetings Fexa Family!
We’re excited to bring you the highlights of our latest release! This month, we focused on key improvements inspired by your feedback to make your experience on the platform even better. Dive in to discover the newest updates designed to streamline your workflow and elevate your productivity.
What's New
New Assignee Filter: Current User
We’ve introduced an Assignee Filter to streamline your workflow! Now, you can easily set up lists to display work orders assigned specifically to you as the logged-in user. This filter is available on work orders, assignments, vendor invoices, and vendor quotes, giving you a clear view of your tasks.
Look out for this feature on client quotes and the client invoice grid in our December release!
Why it’s Great:
Our new Assignee Filter makes shared lists easier than ever! Now, you can set up shared lists using this filter, so each user will automatically see only the items assigned to them upon login. No need to adjust or change filters—just log in and get straight to work with a personalized view!
User Limits Set up By Permission Group
We’re excited to introduce default Vendor Not-To-Exceed (NTE) limits based on permission groups! Now, NTE limits will automatically apply whenever a new user is created, ensuring no user goes without a set NTE limit if it’s required by the customer.
Why it’s Great:
With our new feature, users will now be created with a default Vendor NTE limit based on their permission group, ensuring no one is set up without an NTE limit. This safeguard prevents users from manually adjusting assignment NTE values beyond their designated limits, providing an added layer of compliance and control.
If you’d like to update your permission groups to implement this feature, please reach out to Support or connect with your CSM.
“Created By” and “Updated By” Columns in Reports Grid
Now, at a glance, you can easily see who created each report and who last updated it, making it even simpler to track and collaborate on report activity.
Why it’s Great:
Now, you can quickly see who created each report and who was the last person to make an update. This added visibility keeps everyone on the same page and streamlines collaboration.
New Relative Date Filters
We heard your requests and added new relative filters for quick and easy date range selection! You can now filter data by the past 30, 120, 180, or 365 days. Anywhere you see a relative date filter, these new options will be available, helping you get to the insights you need faster.
Why it’s Great:
No more manual date ranges! With our new relative date filters, you can effortlessly pull data for the last 30, 120, 180, or 365 days—keeping your lists automatically up-to-date. Now you’ll always have a rolling view of data for the timeframe you need, without having to adjust the filter each time.
Ability to Lock Asset Template Attributes
To maintain data integrity, certain asset records that are automatically created or modified by backend processes will now have restricted editing. In these scenarios, users will be prevented from editing some or all fields on these assets, ensuring consistent and accurate data across the system.
Why it’s Great:
Now, if your data is imported or fed from another system, you can lock specific fields to prevent manual changes by users. This feature protects data integrity, ensuring imported information remains consistent while still allowing users to update other fields within the asset.
Improved Readability: Darker Text in Disabled Fields
We’ve enhanced readability by darkening the gray text in disabled fields across the desktop application. Now, information in these fields is easier to read at a glance, improving clarity and accessibility throughout your workflow.
