Making Subcontractor Employee Roles assignable allows users to assign individuals in the company independently, versus creating separate provider organizations for each provider employee. The primary provider contains the overall status and is the one tracked for compliance. In addition, all billing information is housed in the primary provider so any added roles would be linked to that same information.
Assigning Employees
Step 1: Click on the Provider and then click on Users.
Step 2: Double-click on the user record.
Step 3: Use the Assignable toggle to assign the employee.
Step 4: Ensure the Dispatch Name is correct and select Save. This name should be different than the Company name to avoid confusion when assigning a provider to a work order.
This user is now assignable on assignments.
This is setting based, so you may not see this on your site. If this is something you would like to take advantage of, please submit a support ticket for this to be configured.
There is also a site setting, that if set to true, all Internal Employees will have Time Entry capabilities, and when editing Internal Employees there will be an Assignable toggle that works similarly to how it does on Subcontractor Employee Roles (note that this toggle only appears when editing, not when creating).
