Asset tagging allows users to scan an asset's bar code or QR code within a location and load the asset directly into Fexa via the mobile version of Fexa. A work order can then be created from this asset.
Scaning an Asset Tag and Creating a Work Order
- After signing in to the mobile website, click the “Scan” button
- If a message appears saying no camera has been selected, click the settings button, and “Allow” if a message appears requesting access to your camera.
- Verify the settings match the next screenshot and click the save button.
- Scan the asset using the mobile camera. Once the scan has been completed, the URL or value will display in the Result field. Then click “Next”
- The associated record will then appear where the assets information can be viewed. If a work order is needing to be created for the asset, click the “Create Work Order” button.
- Input any additional required information on the create work order screen to include the details of the problem, and click the “Save” button in the bottom right corner.
