Asset Depreciation is a new feature, which involves adding attributes to an Asset that will track the depreciation of the value over time. Graphs can be created to visually display this representation.
On the Asset Details Overview, some new fields have been added including Estimated Useful Life (Months), Condition, End of life expectancy, and some value and cost fields.
At the top right hand corner of the Assets Detail page, there is a graphs icon.
When you click on the graph icon, a graph page opens up depicting all the figures from the Asset Details page.
The graph shows the behavior and depreciation values of the Asset based on the calculations from the figures and dates provided within the Asset Details.
Back on the Asset Details page, the details can be edited or updated, but will only be depicted correctly within the graph after they are saved on the upper right hand corner.
You can also go directly to the graph view from the Assets Grid by clicking on the hamburger menu on the right hand side of the Asset you would like to view.
The ability to view Asset Depreciation information is controlled by a new Permission, and can be enabled separately for different users.
