When a work order, assignment or visit related to a project task is cancelled, this will complete out the task. For example, cancelling a visit connected to a project task, will either take the task to 100% or remove the task from the project altogether.

Inside Project Tasks, users can click on the linkable source, such as a work order assignment:
The User can cancel the assignment from within the work order:
When viewing this in the Project's tasks, the completion is now at 100%.
