Problems are very similar to Categories (Trades), but can only be seen on the Store Manager work order creation screen. Problems are typically more in depth than categories, as this allows store managers to select exactly what the issue is within their store.
Before creating a new problem, a Category should be created first. The Problem must be linked to an existing Category.

Creating New Problems under the Administration grid
To add problems navigate to Administration>Selectables>Problems. On the Problems grid, select the plus sign (+) button on the top right hand side of the screen.
On the pop-up menu for creating a new Problem the following will be seen:
- Problem - Name of the problem (required)
- Category - The category the problem should map to (required)
- Client - Which Client's stores will have the ability to see this problem on work order creation
- Parent Problem - The top level problem. If this is a child problem, add a parent. If this is the parent problem, leave this field blank.
- If this is the parent problem, it's important to leave the Parent Problem field blank as this can cause several data issues in the site.
- Active - To enable the problem to be used or not
- Areas - When store managers are creating work orders, which areas should allow this problem for selection.
- Brand - This problem can be available for specific store brands only. Select this field if desired.
Creating New Problems via Import

Navigate to the Imports grid.

Click the “+” sign in the upper right-hand side and select Category Problem import type.

Download the import template.

Use the Mapping information as a reference in filling out the spreadsheet.

Column B (Problem) – the name of the Problem

Column E (Category) – Input the Category the Problem should map to
- If this is a child problem, be sure to enter the Parent Problem in column D. If this IS the parent, leave this column blank.
Note: When adding new Problems, the user should leave Column A (Column ID) blank.
- Once the spreadsheet has been filled out, navigate back to the Import grid in Fexa.
- Select Browse, to locate the import spreadsheet and select your saved file.
- Select Upload.
- Carefully review the Mappings before saving. Make sure the columns on the left match the columns on the right and hit “Save Mappings.”
Updating Existing Problems

Double-click on the Problem to update.

Make the necessary updates.

Hit the “Save” button.
