Please review the Regions article before adding Districts. Since Regions and Districts work hand in hand, in order to create a district, you do need a region to associate it with!
Creating New Districts
Step 1) From the menu, select Administration>Selectables>Districts.
Step 2) Select the plus sign in the top right-hand corner of the grid.
Step 3) Add a name in the Name field.
Step 4) Add the identifier for this district if desired.
Step 5) Select the region this district is in.
Step 6) Select the save icon in the top right-hand corner.
Step 7) Add district users after adding users to this district.
Adding Stores
Step 1) From within the district, select the Stores tab.
Step 2) Select the Stores tab.
Step 3) Select the plus sign on the right-hand side of this grid.
Step 4) Click on the store to check the box on the left.
Step 5) Select Save.
Note: You can remove stores from districts by using the trash icon within the district, OR use the X to remove it from within a store record.
Adding Users
Step 1) From within the district, select the Users tab.
Step 2) Select the plus sign (+) in the top right-hand corner of this grid.
Step 3) Fill out all of the required information.
Step 4) Select Save.
Step 5) Navigate back to the Overview tab, and, after refreshing, you can now select a district manager from the drop down.
Note: To update users on this grid, double-click to open the record.
Deleting Districts
Districts can only be deleted if there are no associated facilities, district managers, and no reference from any markups, product pricings, budgets, or default tables. If the district that should be deleted is associated to any of those objects, the association must be removed.
Step 1) On the navigation panel, select Administration>Selectables>Districts. Select the District that should be deleted from the Districts grid.
Step 2) Select the trash icon to delete the district.
Step 3) A pop-up will appear, select 'Proceed' after verifying this is the correct district to delete.
